J.Lo’s Latest Sheer Gown Is Giving Us Flashbacks to *That* 2000 Grammys Dress

Leave it to J.Lo to serve major Y2K vibes in the year 2022.

Last night, Jennifer Lopez received the Icon Award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. The singer/actress took the time during her acceptance speech to thank her fans personally.

“I appreciate this so much, so very, very much,” she said, according to People. “I wish I could tell you that awards were the most important to me, but that's not true. And don't think that I don't appreciate the shiny, sparkly things, because I do! I cannot lie, everybody knows that I do. But this isn't why I do this. It's not what matters most to me. I really do it for you guys.”

And while her speech was heartfelt, it was her dress that really stole the show. According to E! News, the Marry Me star rocked a green Stéphane Rolland gown for the night. The asymmetrical top included a long sleeve that completely covered her left arm. We couldn’t help but notice that her latest ensemble bore a striking resemblance to her green tropical Versace dress worn to the 2000 Grammy Awards. Like her previous show-stopping dress, her latest award show look featured a low-cut V that extended nearly to her waistline.

If that weren’t enough for last night, Lopez performed her 2005 hit song, “Get Right.” While onstage, she donned a long white coat with a train that had the word “Equality” written on the bottom of it. Before the award show, an official press release revealed that she was being recognized for “her impact on pop culture, longevity and continued relevance as a touring and radio force.”

Jennifer truly is a music—and fashion—icon.
